Take an Insight into Ownership at Erigmore

Lynn & Kenny Wallace love being holiday home owners at Erigmore along with their family who regularly come and visit, with their furry friends! We asked them a few questions about their experience as an owner and what made them choose Erigmore as their holiday home location.

Please tell us about yourself and who shares your holiday home.

Our full family use and love the caravan and Erigmore. My husband works offshore, and I am a nurse who works shifts so we use it both during the week and on weekends. My son, daughter in law and 2 children also use it.

What made you choose your park as your holiday home location?

Before we purchased our first caravan 16 years ago, we visited many sites. We wanted somewhere no more than 1.5 hours from home so we could go after work and make full use of it. Erigmore stood out to us as it was not a typical caravan site with rows of vans close to each other. We have no regrets choosing Erigmore and love that there are so many walking routes nearby. 

What type of holiday home do you own and what made you choose this model?

We currently have an ABI Ambleside. Ross showed us a few however this stood out due to the layout and washing machine being included. This has proved valuable with the grandchildren. We also liked the fact it was residential spec therefore insulated well for Scottish winters. 

What is your favourite thing to do at Erigmore?

Everything! Chill out, walk the dogs, visit Dunkeld, use the bar and restaurant, socialise with the other residents. 

Do you have a highlight of the last year to share?

We have had lots of highlights however I have really enjoyed helping with the bake sales for the charity events and attending the owners’ events throughout the year.
