The Marketing Team’s Favourite Holiday Homes
18/10/2024
With so many caravans and lodges to choose from, it’s hard to pick just one favourite. But, we set the Verdant Leisure Marketing Team a challenge to narrow down their top picks to just one holiday home each. Here’s what they had to say:
Callam, Assistant Marketing Manager
Favourite holiday home: the ABI Westwood
“The high-pitched roofline in the Westwood makes such a huge difference to the feeling of space, while the feature wood panelling gives it a really cosy feel. Even though it’s a caravan, this holiday home feels just as luxurious as a lodge as it has a separate hallway, en-suite from the master, and plenty of light throughout.
If I was to own the Westwood, I’d choose Queensberry Bay Leisure Park as the location. With the coast right on your doorstep, this holiday home feels right at home here. I love the close-knit feel of the park and the way it always looks immaculate. What’s more, The Sandpiper is a fantastic place to wind down and enjoy some nice food.”

Favourite holiday home: the Carnaby Langham
“I’d choose the Langham, firstly because of the super spacious decking – I’d love to enjoy my breakfast outdoors each morning while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The interior of the holiday home is also beautiful, especially the blend of dark wood and light fabrics through the centre lounge and open plan kitchen. What’s more, I think this holiday home is perfect for hosting friends and family because it has two equally sized master bedrooms, both with en-suites.
My ideal location for this holiday home would be Cleavewood Leisure Park in North Devon. I love going to the beach which is very close to the park, and I’d like to someday learn how to surf. There are also plenty of lovely bars and restaurants in the area, like The Old Mill.”

Favourite holiday home: the Atlas Heritage
“I love the design of the Atlas Heritage as it looks very homely and spacious. I really like the flooring and the wooden finishes in this lodge, and the free-standing furniture.
Choosing a park is difficult, but I like Pease Bay because it’s on the coast, and it’s fairly close to Edinburgh making it easy to jump to a city for a day out.”

Favourite holiday home: the Willerby Dorchester
"For me, the obvious choice would be the Willerby Dorchester. When you see this holiday home in person, its true sense of style and luxury is hard to resist! The colour scheme is gorgeous, it’s got plenty of space and I’d love spending my downtime in it.
I love spending time on the beach so I would choose Pease Bay as the beach is practically on its doorstep! Plus, I’d love to spend more time exploring Scotland, and it’s just under an hour's drive from Edinburgh.”

Favourite holiday home: the Victory Kahlo
"This holiday home is super stylish, with a modernist exterior. The interior has a luxurious mid-century vibe, perfect for sipping an evening Negroni! The built in upholstered dining bench is a nice touch, as is the chevroned wood panelling. The large windows feel indulgent and will let the light flood in. Additional office space is a fab and flexible feature. I'd share this holiday home with my husband, 16 year old daughter and our whippet. Our daughter will set up her Xbox in the office for winding down while we chill with our whippet on the huge sofa (or he maybe spotting squirrels from the large windows!)
I would site my Kahlo at Erigmore, we love the Perthshire countryside, the area is full of great places to visit, beautiful walks and Dunkeld is a foodie heaven. Erigmore is a peaceful park with an abundance of wildlife. I can just see my Kahlo nestled in amongst the trees like a secret hideaway!"
Victory Kahlo
Hash, Graphic Designer
Favourite holiday home: the Victory Kahlo (this one is popular with the designers!)
"I would choose the Kahlo because it's the epitome of luxury; I love the interior furnishings. I would enjoy getting away to my holiday home with my family.
I would also choose the location of Erigmore, because I like the woodland surroundings."

Favourite holiday home: 2022 Atlas Chorus
"I'd choose this holiday home because I like the cool tones of the upholstery and the light airiness of the living area, plus having a U-shaped kitchen is the most efficient use of the cooking space.
I would choose Ballintuim for its location at the gateway to the highlands, surrounded by wildlife and the peace and tranquillity of the countryside."
