Salary: £8.35 (16-17) to £12.21 (age 18+) per hour

Hours: Variable hours. Shifts will include weekends and bank holidays.
About the Role
Our passionate, customer-focused and friendly reception team are instrumental in ensuring that all our customers and visitors are welcomed to the Park, have all the information needed to enjoy their stay and leave following a positive engagement with the Verdant experience. They also handle queries and issues, liaising with the accommodation, maintenance and other teams on park to ensure our customers are enjoying their time with us and any problems that may arise are dealt with promptly and professionally.
Typical duties and responsibilities include:
- Welcoming our owners and guests, handling their queries in a professional and timely manner
- Cash handling: processing payments, assisting with the cashing up of the reception till
- Ensuring that Welcome Packs are ready for arriving customers
- Maintaining knowledge of the parks and the facilities that the area offers in order to provide customers with a first-class service.
- Participating in and being actively involved in promoting park facilities, products and activities
- Any relevant administrative duties as required
- Answering the phone: handling queries, taking messages, ensuring that the correct information is provided at all times
About the Person
About the Person: We are looking for someone with previous experience in a customer-facing role and excellent customer service skills. You will need to have good IT skills with the ability to pick up new IT systems quickly and efficiently. Good administration and communication skills are essential. Experience in a reception environment, or within the tourism/leisure industry would be advantageous but not necessary.

- Demonstrable skills in providing excellent customer service
- Excellent communication skills
- A friendly, helpful and professional attitude and personal presentation
- The ability to organise and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities at one time
- Experience with using basic computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, or the ability to pick up these skills quickly
