During the Easter weekend, holiday home owners at Verdant Leisure’s Kingfisher Leisure Park raised £1,200 for a new park defibrillator.
The fundraising weekend began with a wine and cheese quiz night on Friday 14th April, which all owners and guests at Kingfisher Leisure Park were invited to. On Saturday, the park hosted a Family Funday, with a bouncy castle and hog roast, followed by an auction in the afternoon. On Easter Sunday, the park celebrated with an egg hunt and a special visit from the Easter Bunny!
Stuart Wood, General Manager at Kingfisher Leisure Park, said: “Everyone at Kingfisher Leisure Park had an absolutely brilliant time raising money for the new defibrillator. We can’t believe the total amount raised was so much! We are so grateful to everyone that contributed to the life-saving equipment for our park.”
Verdant Leisure, a bespoke holiday park operator with seven holiday parks in Scotland and the North of England, is investing over £2.7 million in its portfolio for 2017. The company, established in 2010, has grown steadily and is now a key player in the industry.
